Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his crown, but Jill would not Tumble After...
Twenty years after the events atop the hill, a scarred conman grifts the streets of London. Going by names like Jack Beanstalk or Jack B. Nimble, he's thrown through a loop when a new Jack arrives on the scene: Jack the Ripper. The real Jack must clear his name in face of the murderer, but it soon becomes evident that he and Jack share more than just a name...

I didn't think it was possible, but they finally made Jack & Jill creepy.

I think this is pretty cool - except the voice over...

Cool take on a classic story
Stan T. Posted 6 months ago
I've got that creeped-out feeling in my belly after watching this trailer... intrigued to see more.
Sarah C. Posted 6 months ago

Kinda dark and disturbing ... if that is what you are going for, I guess it worked.
nathan e. Posted 6 months ago
nice cinematography...
William R. Posted 6 months ago
I love Jill.
Louise R. Posted 6 months ago
not quite sure what to make of the trailer, from reading the synopsis I thought it sounded like a good basis for a film but the trailer left me a bit disappointed
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
I love the approach to the old nursery rhyme we all know and grew up to. After watching your missions there's so much more to this movie then what the trailer shows, which gets me even more excited. I also like the voice of the narrator.
HEZIEANN C. Posted 6 months ago
Yikes. What's up with Jill?
Daniel R. Posted 6 months ago
Nice trailer....especially the twist at the end ... but doesn't really show where the movie's headed at....
Chad M. Posted 6 months ago
not for me
Jordan H. Posted 6 months ago
I love a fairy tell twists, like Once Upon A Time. This trailer was really well done. Tells the watcher what the problem is but gives no hint as to what will arise from the problem. Really looking forward to seeing this.
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
This is an interesting storyline.
Timario M. Posted 6 months ago
Creeeeepy
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
good luck guys
Dan R. Posted 6 months ago
This was a good effort, I particularly enjoy the flickering lights in your shots. I thought the actors did a good job as well.
Taryn K. Posted 6 months ago
Looked interesting but was not hooked to the trailer at all
Nikola R. Posted 7 months ago
I could see it as a short film just's not a feature other wise it looked really good!
Tracy R. Posted 7 months ago
Really cool look. I would have liked to have seen some of the "20-years later" stuff to see the style that you envision, but you've got my interest with what feels like the beginning of the trailer. I see that there is a longer trailer available, but I'm rating based on what I've seen in the 'teaser' trailer. So I'm teased. Good job. :)
Trish M. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry, can't buy into this one. So much good stuff being done with fairy tales these days (new & remakes) I couldn't sit through a feature of this
Heather F. Posted 7 months ago
looks amazing! Best of luck!
Louise M. Posted 7 months ago
I love the way this trailer takes some common elements of folk tales and rhyme, and spins its own tale. The slow pace was just right for building up to the conclusion. Costumes, actors, mood - all seem spot on.
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
Cool twist on the typical. It has potential good luck
Parminder P. Posted 7 months ago
interesting making this story so dark

Interesting twist on this old nursery rhyme. Liked the tone of the voice over
Jordan N. Posted 7 months ago

Great trailer, but is the whole story in it?
Jenna V. Posted 7 months ago
This looks awesome! Love the idea.
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
want to see how this develops

I can't really see this as a feature. I don't want to sit through 90 minutes Jill getting picked on.
Siobhan W. Posted 7 months ago
great.

Well done.

Barbara D. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea- would love to see more.
Andy M. Posted 7 months ago
I needed to read the synopsis in order to understand anything about your project - that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Paul N. Posted 7 months ago
i liked it, but it was more a 2 minute short then a trailer
Gabriel B. Posted 7 months ago
I like the fact that this is a prequel. Kudos and good luck guys - this was a very creative use of a nursery rhyme the whole world knows!
Aakash s. Posted 7 months ago
This was a beautiful twist on the rhyme. Good going, guys! Your cheap trick video was awesome as well!
Alexa S. Posted 7 months ago
People seem to be split on whether this has potential for a feature or not. After reading the synopsis and seeing your two mission videos, I am confident you guys have a great premise to build on!
Susan A. Posted 7 months ago
Empty words, the most satisfying image was the moon light shining thru Jacks ears.
Aaron j. Posted 7 months ago
I actually loved this! Beautifully shot and a very creative use of a very famous rhyme. The synopsis premise is also quite intriguing - good luck guys. My vote is with you!
Helen M. Posted 7 months ago
Yikes! I would hope she'd make it through a few more years of sibling torment before resorting to murder, lol. Cute but not sure I would sit through a full feature.
Diane N. Posted 7 months ago
I found it a little bit boring!
Carolyn K. Posted 7 months ago
I liked it . A modern twisting of a nursery rhyme every mother sings to her children. Hope to see more from you!
Trevor L. Posted 7 months ago
im genuinly creept out (sorry for my spelling)

Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Nice rhyme...can't see a movie
LeeAnn D. Posted 7 months ago
Brilliant! Clever and thoughtful....anyone who can't figure this out as an amazing prequel has NO imagination...Please win, we must see this....not anything like the plots being churned out...a refreshing spin on old classics
Jack D. Posted 7 months ago
Watching this made my hairs on my neck stand up! Very clever narration, great sets, shooting..What's this? A CLEVER dark, horror prequel...a winner for sure!
Bryan D. Posted 7 months ago
Wow. Jack should have met Karma.
Danielle M. Posted 7 months ago
You definitely caught my interest with your unique use of a nursery rhyme. Great cinematography as well. Best of luck to your team.
Thomas A. Posted 7 months ago
Well done and original, tough to imagine how it would make a compelling feature length film.
Chelsea B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice costumes and sets!
Maureen M. Posted 7 months ago
Not my kind of movie
Gemma H. Posted 7 months ago
Watch out for that Jill. Great Trailer!
david p. Posted 7 months ago
interested to see where this goes but very close to going down hill if not taking in the right direction
John K. Posted 7 months ago

courtney n. Posted 7 months ago
I like the idea, but I think it would seriously ruin my childhood haha
Joe C. Posted 7 months ago
I love the cinematography and the artzy look and the unusual take on the nursery rhyme
James A. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting take on a well known story
Grim D. Posted 7 months ago
I love the magical feel of the movie! Initially, I was a bit confused about how this would translate as a feature, but after watching the pitch video, it's clear that this is a prequel to the actual film. Kudos, guys. Hope this makes it to the big screen!
Lauren F. Posted 7 months ago
i'd watch this!
Dinah H. Posted 7 months ago
Great piece. Might be better told without the narration. The voice over felt as if it was taking away from my engagement with the characters, instead of adding to it.
Lindsay S. Posted 7 months ago
A little slow in the trailer, but could be an interesting story.
Nicole H. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting would like to see how this comes together.
Harmin K. Posted 7 months ago
Great feel. Really looks like a movie!
Chris C. Posted 8 months ago
I'm interested to see this come together... I just fail to see how this would be a full length feature.
Chado M. Posted 8 months ago
Got up to 7 - story looked very intriguing. I really hope the pacing of the film would be a lot faster than this. Suspense works if there is release - eventually without it your audience loses interest - I was getting there. Visually very well done
Tatiana Z. Posted 8 months ago
I thought this looked great! I don't understand the low reviews. The acting and writing seemed quite professional to me. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Katie T. Posted 8 months ago
Dark and visually well done, but didn't grab me. Felt like a prelude to another story. Not sure it'll sustain a feature.
Travis B. Posted 8 months ago
Really cool, love the fairy tale theme! I'm interested to see where this goes..
Jermaine L. Posted 8 months ago
Not sure how this can become a feature, but that's just me I guess.
Mike L. Posted 8 months ago
nice set and costumes nice edit as well just don't think it will carry 90 minutes
Jay C. Posted 8 months ago
Pretty cool concept on an old story. Kinda reminds me of BigFish.
Joseph K. Posted 8 months ago
Very interesting and a very interesting twist, this has tons of potential as well as your group as producers
Jeremy B. Posted 8 months ago
I love alt versions of established stories. Beautifully shot and the voice actor was pretty good too. The script sounded a little forced at times for a rhyme and I'm unsure how you could stretch this out to feature-length, but I'll let you guys worry about that. Good stuff.
Frances L. Posted 8 months ago
I like the twist on the traditional nursery rhyme...looking forward to knowing the whole story.
Layla C. Posted 8 months ago
great concept. Has definite potential
Ewa B. Posted 8 months ago
LOVE this Idea! very unique and shot excellently
Joel R. Posted 8 months ago
Love it, the concept is amazing and could definitely be turned into a feature. With a million dollars it would be pretty impressive.
Sarah L. Posted 8 months ago
Actually enjoyed it.
Casper A. Posted 8 months ago
Kind of liked this actually.
Gina . Posted 8 months ago
Different than almost all the the trailers so far.
Amy Z. Posted 8 months ago
love the twist at the end. so awesome!
Lisa L. Posted 8 months ago
Well shot but it's a bad sign when the trailer feels so slow that you want to turn to off after 20 seconds. Also felt like it was trying really hard (but failing) to be scary.
Shane S. Posted 8 months ago
Great concept and an amazing job with the twist, I love the line "She led him to the slaughter". This has a lot of potential to be a great film but not with $1 million dollars. You would need a lot more for the sets and costumes which really are the highlight of movies such as this. The story almost comes second, its unfortunate but true. Could be an amazing short but then you wouldn't be able to cover the events that take place after that and the sibling rivalry or where ever else you guys were thinking about taking it. I will say if you make a feature, and I do hope somehow you do, I don't think you would need to go into the backstory too much, the best thing about the trailer is it could be the opening of the film and I'm on board. I know the story so I understand the twist. The single line of her being a slave and the brother being the favord child is a timeless story that we can relate to. Which opens up and hour and a half of just fun, and you could get to it quickly have a nice long and eventful second act which adventure/fantasy movies need. It took 10 minutes for Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler to get to the island of Jurassic Park. So main point I'm trying to make is once we are there at the top of the hill just have a blast and I honestly really do hope you guys make this feature regardless of this competition.
