Synopsis

Welcome to the god damn city of Carnage...

Rosalind has been promoted to Inspector, no small feat for a woman in the city of Carnage. Soon after her promotion, Rosalind's life is turned upside down when she discovers her lover has been murdered. She must hide her private life so she can remain on the investigation to bring this killer to justice.

Rosalind, along with her partner Jack discover the killer has been targeting women in a gay support group. Jack becomes suspicious of Rosalind's motivations and closes in on her secret just as she closes in on the killer.

Rosalind's career and everything she has worked for is at risk while begging the question "is everything as it seems?"

Although he has always been a fan of movies, Daniel didn't start pursuing a film career until his first year of university. Since then he has been involved in multiple projects in Canada and the United States. He fancies himself a director, writer, and actor, with a particular affinity for dark psychological thrillers. He loves his craft and only wants to entertain.

Creating films has always been a passion of mine, to evoke inspiration in life and create a new world for audiences to immerse themselves into. I have grown throughout the years as an avid film viewer starting with Hitchcock and Vincent Price, exploring the creativity in cinematography as it grew with me throughout the years. I hope to create films for the rest of my life.

I like crime drama, but it is being done much better in the USA. There are some good things in this project - but it's more like a TV series than a feature film.

Some good ideas, and definitely some really neat transitions, but some of the colouring is inconsistent. Other than a few small moments, this didn't really stand out to me that much.

I feel there is a struggle between the promise of your message and the impossibility of the plot. If being a gay rights activist is not mutually exclusive from being gay, wouldn't the serial killer just target gay women? The cinematography is very enjoyable though.

The start of the trailer was pretty well done, too bad it breaks down after the half way point. The music chosen here doesn't work for the montage. I really wish someone in your team spoke up sooner. Instead I feel as though you'll alienate a lot of potential viewers.

I thought the beginning of the trailer seemed really professional. Some scenes seemed a little stressed with the acting like when the guy threw the other guy on the ground it felt a bit awkward. I thought the music felt really out of place. I was struggling to hear the characters over the music and thought the soundtrack could either be changed, dummed down a bit or used not at all. The change from slow piano to distracting dubstep sounding music was a surprise and kind of pulled my focus off the actual events in the trailer. The cutting of the scenes was good but I think there was too much of it, just flicking back and forth too fast. Other than that good job.

loved the concept great job guys and girl. Its great to see a unique story and to have support in all aspects unlike alot of others i have viewed in this contest. I really enjoyed the visual display of the guy in the bedroom against the prison bars on the city. The whole underlying concept seems really original and i really like that twist. This looks lame. And the music is confusing. Like they wanna be hard with rap or they want to be mysterious with clinky piano. make up your minds. and if you want to be cool get a better rapper, took me out of believing the whole thing.. and then what's with the guy drinking a beer by his bed... looks like he just had a rough day at work, now he's having a beer. what the hells wrong with that?

Looked at the Face Book page for this concept, if you have not looked at it you should! It explains that this film will be interactive so as an audience member and FB fan you get to decide important parts to the story! Great concept, and great acting done in the trailer!

This looks amazing! I am glad to see that you are weaving in LGBT issues into the storyline in a serious fashion and not using it as a comedic sideline story that most film makers are taking now adays. Cant wait to see this in the theatres!

Really interesting concept. The fact that it seems to be a social commentary on how society today reacts to homosexuality is interesting. The COOLEST thing is that they tie it together with a crime drama! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
