BOB GLUM is a phenomenal locksmith. He's not much of a person but there's no security system he can't crack.
But Bob's motto of "never get involved" has earned him a life on the sidelines with no girlfriend, no buddies and a dog that even ignores him. Plus, with every call to free someone handcuffed to a bed, Bob realizes how dull his life really is.
After helping reclusive RUTH though, he decides to do more for all of his clients. Now he dispenses advice, gets involved and even offers to steal something for SHANIA, a mysterious, alluring client.
Unfortunately she's set him up and soon Bob is on the run from the mob, the police and desperately wants his old boring life back.

Great idea...love to see this movie concept developed further!
David D. Posted 6 months ago
A must-see!
Amy K. Posted 6 months ago
looks awesome cant wait to see more
Zolie G. Posted 6 months ago
REALLY like the new trailer. Great work and hilarious. But have to say too that the original trailer, despite the stock footage, still works. Great pacing and introduces an interesting character with a lot going on.
Jeff M. Posted 6 months ago
Love the hammer!
Tim E. Posted 6 months ago
Your trailer redux version has moved the original CONCEPT trailer to a theatrical trailer. KUDOS to this team for hooking this viewer from the beginning....the missions have given me a clearer sense of the creativity of the team. Looking forward to seeing more!
Martin V. Posted 6 months ago
The trailer didn't have any video footage at all. I'm concerned that this means your team wasn't organized enough to put a team of actors together in time. As for pitching a story it didn't really appeal to me.
Good luck in the competition.
Erik K. Posted 6 months ago
Great concept for a comedy, looking forward to it!
Doug M. Posted 6 months ago
Good trailor which suggests some good writing. Shania is a treat -no wonder he falls.
Catherine L. Posted 6 months ago
The visual is good. But with this title, this is not the kind of story I expected.
Carolyn v. Posted 6 months ago
Clever idea for a protagonist - could be a very funny movie! The trailer outlines the story well especially for being a concept.
Douglas H. Posted 6 months ago
I knew the concept was there and this team could deliver. New trailer is funny, clever and lays out key elements without giving it all away. Nicely done.
Bruce E. Posted 6 months ago
I really liked the concept of this trailer. I think that it has great potential.
TBiddy U. Posted 6 months ago
awesome!
Janet R. Posted 6 months ago
Two thumbs up!
Andre v. Posted 6 months ago
Great stuff!
Aidan v. Posted 6 months ago
Looks amazing! Want this to be screened so I can see it!!!! Can't wait!
Paula D. Posted 6 months ago
Looks interesting. Would like to see a bit more of the story line but good job.
Jennifer S. Posted 6 months ago
A new twist on the exploration of greed and its consequences. Timely.
Peter K. Posted 6 months ago
very funny! And clearly tons more potential!!
Francois D. Posted 6 months ago
This film has SOOO much potential. It's even cooler to know that the very origin of this story concept was birthed out of the CineCoup campaign. Thanks to you guys for doing something that sparks local creativity and supports independent filmmaking. I can't wait to see where this project's story could go...
Shawn F. Posted 6 months ago
Can't wait to see a finished product!
Dustin B. Posted 6 months ago
Looks hilarious!
Nathan F. Posted 6 months ago
After watching Trailer Redux I can completely feel the tone of the film and it's genre. Lately in Hamilton there have been interviews and articles on the director and with his past experience I am certain that they can pull off a feature that would be ready for the big screen. Jeff Douglas was great in Trailer Redux and could carry the film.
Andre v. Posted 6 months ago
Please check out our new trailer! The fans have spoken and we have listened.
Eleanor M. Posted 6 months ago
I don't get the trailer to be honest. I feel more confused about what this movie is about.
Louise R. Posted 6 months ago
on paper this should be a good subject for a film as locksmiths do get to see some funny and interesting things in their day to day work, but the trailer just didn't grab my attention to be honest
Ryan G. Posted 6 months ago
Trailer dialogue makes for a really interesting movie. The photo story i am not so sold on. Lets see what you come up with. Good luck.
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
I think this is such a unique idea. Haven't seen anything like it.
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
Oh haha, the start of the film I was confused but this is probably the funniest trailer out of all the comedy trailers.
Jordan H. Posted 6 months ago
It sounds like it could have a really good plot and I definitely look forward to see what it looks like. Though it is hard to tell a lot about characters, filming techniques and such as it was all done with stills and voice over.
Ken N. Posted 6 months ago
If only there was video...
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
Exceptional trailer.
Ange M. Posted 6 months ago
Quite liked the idea of using stills but would've liked to see a bit more content too
Michael W. Posted 6 months ago
Cool idea of using pictures to tell the story but I found it to not keep my interest as well as it could have if it had been filmed. Other than that the story was ok and I like the title.
Michelle E. Posted 6 months ago
Felt like I was watching a movie brought to me by Stock Photos. Didn't get a good feel for the movie as a result.
Robert Z. Posted 6 months ago
Interesting.
Karyn T. Posted 6 months ago
This was listed as being a comedy, but i didn't get the comedy element coming through on the trailer. Maybe i just didn't get the idea.
Joslyn P. Posted 6 months ago
Sometimes I find it hard to bring myself to watch some trailers because I do not think I would like the morals and I would end up wishing that I hadn't watched it. IT was a very unique storyline however but the sexual elements were a big turn off for me. good luck!
Simon D. Posted 6 months ago
Looks like a winner!
Michael S. Posted 6 months ago
Unique concept. Consider giving your viewers more credit by dropping the narration in the trailer. Looking forward to the final product.
Cat F. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry, this did nothing for me -- maybe the use of stills only, but I didn't connect at all with the trailer...
Niko M. Posted 7 months ago
Looking good!
Carleigh B. Posted 7 months ago
really enjoyed the music playing in the back thought it was a unique way to make a trailer
Nikki S. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting choice to use only stills. Not sure I'm engaged in the story but I like the concept of the trailer.
Ros G. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea!
Kathy K. Posted 7 months ago
I want to see more!!
Mackenzie W. Posted 7 months ago
I like the concept, I just wish the trailer had not been all photos. Plus the photos used all seem to not really connect with the voiceover.
Mac L. Posted 7 months ago
Looks good!
Daisy F. Posted 7 months ago
I wish the trailer had contained more than pictures :(. This looks like a funny and entertaining film! The synopsis certainly grabbed my attention.
Noel R. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting preview..Makes you want so see more and find out what really happens.
Sheila G. Posted 7 months ago
This is going to be great!
Crystal-Ann V. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing. Best i've seen in a long time.
Roger G. Posted 7 months ago
The trailer didn't really show what the movie was about. If I hadn't read the description before hand I wouldn't have known what the main plot is. And it looks like lots of the pictures were just taken off of google.
Cyndi F. Posted 7 months ago
Very clever way to throw together a cheap trailer on a low budget. Concept sounds really interesting too. Kind of was left wanting to see/hear more solid gags, though.
Gregg R. Posted 7 months ago
I love this project, very quirky and interesting approach.
Jennifer C. Posted 7 months ago
Reminds me of I Love You, Beth Cooper but with a nerdy locksmith!
Jody M. Posted 7 months ago
I like the genre, and the lightness of this flick. Seems to have more fun to it than many of the others. Good Luck!
marjonneke G. Posted 7 months ago
This film is going to be great. I love it already - the team in place - the poster and all the positive energy. Andre at the helm will bring this home!
Alison E. Posted 7 months ago
Now I want to see the movie!
I'm intrigued....
Nichole J. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea! Can't wait to watch it!
Matthew S. Posted 7 months ago
I wasn't expecting to see a trailer with still frames but to be honest I thought it was a clever way to tell a story on a shoe string budget and make it look great throughout. Well done guys, I look forward to seeing more.
Annette S. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome!!
Will W. Posted 7 months ago
This looks awesome!
Warren C. Posted 7 months ago
Has promise. Looks like these movie makers understand budget constraints. Story has kind of been told before (no kidding), but an different twist, could be fun and entertaining. Like.
Marianne M. Posted 7 months ago
I like these sorts of stories. Fun and romantic. Different way of showing it.
Jordan N. Posted 7 months ago
You used a lot of photos and audio, just did not capture my attention as a viewer! now im going to check out your missions videos maybe I will get a better grasp of whats going on here
Jason H. Posted 7 months ago
This looks great! I would love to see this in a theater soon.
Andie Q. Posted 7 months ago
This works for me. Has a love story, has conflict, and it looks funny.
Bill R. Posted 7 months ago
Would have preferred to see actual film footage rather then stills.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Did someone watch the Seinfield trailer and steal some images from the internet? Looks like anyone with a computer can make a trailer...
Georgianna R. Posted 7 months ago
really funny
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago
kinda like it
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
I enjoyed watching this and i think you have some good ideas but it was just a bit annoying to only have still images. good luck though
Alexei F. Posted 7 months ago
Sounds great. I would want to see this.
Geoffrey S. Posted 7 months ago
This doesnt tell me what i might expect to see from the movie. Not for me.
Kathy M. Posted 7 months ago
Story sounds like it could be interesting
Adam G. Posted 7 months ago
Seems interesting, but I had a few concerns after watching this one.
On the positives first however, the general plot isn't hinted at very often in the trailer itself. And that's a good thing. Most trailers spell out exactly what the story will be about, taking some of the thrill away.
The still image shots were also a nice change, though everything still followed the ascending pace style storytelling most action films use. And on that, I couldn't really see this as a comedy film. Slice of life, maybe, but comedy? Not so much.
Beyond that, the plot, from what was shown in the trailer, doesn't seem to do anything really unique outside of the protag being a locksmith. If we see some of the normal, and bizarre, situations he gets himself into before the big event, that would be a nice change versus other films which just give the protag a job and that's it.
Overall, looks interesting and it got my attention.
dwayne c. Posted 7 months ago
looks interesting
Rochelle A. Posted 7 months ago
meow
Cat K. Posted 7 months ago
That's a creative way to make a trailer- in all pictures and voice over.
Jeff P. Posted 7 months ago
Cool use of stills to make this
Andrew L. Posted 7 months ago
Nice but good be great with moving pics! VO and Script are on the money!
Aaron M. Posted 7 months ago
I like it as a concept trailer. The story comes through well - as does the comedic tone - and makes me want to see more. The missions show these guys can do more.
Charlie M. Posted 7 months ago
Hoping to see what comes out of this!
Alex S. Posted 7 months ago
Show's potential, could be an interesting film.
Nicole L. Posted 7 months ago
This is really bad...I don't even understand what the movie's about. The plot is also terrible.
Janine F. Posted 7 months ago
Project could be interesting but the trailer doesn't just work without any actual footage.
Ze Z. Posted 7 months ago
No movin images in the trailer, text and sound redundancy... :'(
Jeff V. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a faced paced thriller with a few hilarious twists. Can't wait to see the film
Sumit K. Posted 7 months ago
This is an awesome video with great quality.
Amanda C. Posted 7 months ago
I would probably watch it but it wasnt really a trailer with stills. Maybe you didnt have time to make?
Mark V. Posted 7 months ago
Bad story, even for a comedy and there was no video at all. I felt like I was watching a slideshow with overly ambitious commentary.
Paul H. Posted 7 months ago
As a concept trailer it works. The concept comes through as does tone and pace. Is it a finished trailer? No. Needs a film for that.
Helen M. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting but not totally sold on it.
Troy H. Posted 7 months ago
i would watch this, would like to see some real film in the trailer not just stills but i like the idea
Stephanie D. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious! "His life was great...for one day."
David M. Posted 7 months ago
It sounds interesting and action packed with a touch of humour.
Melissa G. Posted 7 months ago
This wasn't a trailer, it was a series of photographs with voiceover placed over it. The flashing pictures could be a good effect for an intense portion of a trailer, but it should not make up the entire thing. The trailer also doesn't add any knowledge about the movie itself, and I got the same amount of info that I got from reading the synopsis. This movie could be very good, I just have no way of knowing.
Jarrett B. Posted 7 months ago
Sounds funny and entertaining. I would love to see more of the finished product. So far the story is intriguing. Great job so far guys!!!
Dianne S. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure, the slideshow is distracting from what's being said, so I don't get a good idea of what it would be like.
Len W. Posted 7 months ago
Looks unique and interesting. Good looking women too!!
Jarold C. Posted 7 months ago
Bob Glum really cracks me up, I think we all have a bit of 'Glum' in all of us. Certainly the best trailer I have seen yet on this site. Well done!
John O. Posted 7 months ago
Ideas good - we'll see it when she comes out
Christina M. Posted 7 months ago
Would be very interested to see this project come to fruition!
Steve H. Posted 7 months ago
The concept for this film leads your mind to endless scenarios and possibilities. I'm intrigued to see where it will go.
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
Really interesting concept, would love to see some actual footage, this could be a really interesting movie.
Joe B. Posted 7 months ago
Pumped for a full length feature.
Deryck D. Posted 7 months ago
cool pics
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea. But you need a trailer and a team.
Chelsea B. Posted 7 months ago
A slideshow?
Paul S. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea. Breaks away from the standard formula. Good luck!
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Curious
Emilio S. Posted 7 months ago
great photos, but still photos does not a trailer make. Could be interesting though.
Linda O. Posted 7 months ago
Looks really interesting!
Patty T. Posted 7 months ago
Lame
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
I think you did a great job of creating movement out of stills! This was effective with the resources you did have, I would like to see the live characters, cinematography, direction, etc. Good luck! @DOODthemovie #DOOD
Susan J. Posted 7 months ago
Good photography.
Mister C. Posted 7 months ago
Cool!
Jennifer E. Posted 7 months ago
Love the concept! The storyline is original. I can't wait to see what else this team creates.
Cheryl v. Posted 7 months ago
I want to learn more!!! What a creative idea! Can't wait to see the movie.
Richmain Y. Posted 8 months ago
is this a photography show still shots or a real movie making cus if the full film is like this and no live action movements than its gonna be one long........ i'll let you put the last words in.
Derek H. Posted 8 months ago
Potential as a film, but difficult to get a sense of the filmmakers without any real footage. Editing was well done.
Jim M. Posted 8 months ago
Confusing
Ellen F. Posted 8 months ago
I want to know what's going to happen to the Locksmith!
Katie T. Posted 8 months ago
Think it was a risk to use stock photography. We don't get any sense of the filmmaker.
Bernie H. Posted 8 months ago
nope.
Filip S. Posted 8 months ago
Looks like something I made in Film School except I didn't use stock photography. One of the pictures I had as a desktop background a few years back. also your audio mixing did not match all the way through.
Arsen O. Posted 8 months ago
no
Dani v. Posted 8 months ago
Awesome concept! Can't wait to see it!
Kris B. Posted 8 months ago
I really like this trailer because I feel that it is a real concept trailer... I really get a feel of how the film is going to be (director frame, a writers sense of humor, an editors pace). Strong work.
Jeremy D. Posted 8 months ago
Maybe some more moving pictures?
Lisa L. Posted 8 months ago
Overall seems like it could be entertaining, I just didn't love the trailer concept
Mike L. Posted 8 months ago
like the story interesting concept however the trailer lost me half way
Lara H. Posted 8 months ago
Sounds super entertaining! Great, original story concept.
Sarah L. Posted 8 months ago
Could be cool if it had actual moving picture.
Casper A. Posted 8 months ago
Not an overly huge fan of this being shot with pictures and sounds.
Matty F. Posted 8 months ago
I really like the concept here...I would of voted high if I saw some live action.
Sandy P. Posted 8 months ago
I'm not having it.
Jason M. Posted 8 months ago
clever idea with the still images and a a good soundtrack to convey your story.
Tawni B. Posted 8 months ago
I feel like it's more of a pitch than a trailer. Quirky plot but I got the sense of American Pie from it. Not really my thing.
Lisa B. Posted 8 months ago
Not a very good plot
Bari D. Posted 8 months ago
I'm kind of surprised you're using slide-film - but I see potential - just need to see some film
Robin K. Posted 8 months ago
LOVE the concept, hope this gets the funding it needs to make it a reality!
David M. Posted 8 months ago
In the spirit of a competition such as this....it's not obvious to find ways to stand out from the crowd. But this team has done it! An excellent trailer that clearly demonstrates the production team's creativity. For those of you viewers wanting to get more of a feel about the Director's past film work...IMDB will satisfy your curiosity. Great job and looking forward to seeing more!
Donal O. Posted 8 months ago
Great concept but would have loved to see some actual acting and camera work. It's hard to vote higher for this trailer without seeing some cinematography. We need to see what they envision, how they work with cast and crew, and how it all gets pulled together. Right now it is just a vision.
The soundtrack is great. It works and makes the trailer better.
I'm sure that I could be convinced to redo my vote if the producers were to find a way to showcase their other film work.
Chuck F. Posted 8 months ago
I also back the concept approach but i cant sort out a feel for a tone or feel.
Andrea M. Posted 8 months ago
This seems to be one of the few "Concept" Trailers. I love it for that reason! It shows creativity - getting a story and mood across, essentially using storyboards. I got enough to know that this would be a fun romp of a film. Good job!
William B. Posted 8 months ago
Awesome, can't wait!
Michelle G. Posted 8 months ago
Sorry -I'm looking for acting in a trailer, not just pictures. But cool idea. And nice voice over.
Jade t. Posted 8 months ago
Could be a cool concept, slideshow format doesn't really show off any film making skills.
Audrey T. Posted 8 months ago
I love it!!! We can't wait to see it.. Job Well Done!
Wally S. Posted 8 months ago
The decision to use stock photos doesn't really reveal any film making skills - how can you pull together a film without a trailer? The synopsis isn't clearly presented in the trailer either, and I worry that the mixed-up-in-the-mob comedy is a little tired. Nice photo treatments and Don LaFontaine voice, though.
Joanne v. Posted 8 months ago
How many of us want the life we see others leading??? Such a fun concept!
Chado M. Posted 8 months ago
found it more intriguing playing it with my eyes closed - sounded like a trailer - the slideshow did nothing for the story - which did sound fun -
Joanna T. Posted 8 months ago
Slideshow?
Steve P. Posted 8 months ago
Looks very exciting! Can`t wait to see the final edit.
Alex B. Posted 8 months ago
Great Premie!!!!
Mark C. Posted 8 months ago
Sounds Hilarious! Can't wait to see it.
Jeremy B. Posted 8 months ago
That is a LOT of stock photos. I've used some of them before in other projects. They just ended up distracting me from whatever the movie was about.
Sean B. Posted 8 months ago
Lots of hot babes.
Honor H. Posted 8 months ago
Agree with previous post, the stills are captivating - enticing me to want to see more! Congrats.
candle s. Posted 8 months ago
congrats! good luck!
Adam S. Posted 8 months ago
Fantastic
Paul T. Posted 8 months ago
I like the idea of using stills - it actually adds production value over other teasers.
