Gillian is a young woman with ambitions of leaving her secluded mountain town, but her plans are soon overshadowed by tragedy when a friend's mutilated body is discovered in the woods. Labelled as a rare “bear attack,” suspicions brew as more victims are discovered with no sign of the animal responsible.
While Gillian's father leads the investigation, her brother Toby introduces her to the dark legends of their hometown; of an immortal Berserker Warrior that shape-shifts into animal form and lusts for women’s blood. Stolen evidence from their father's case suggests Toby's theory may be true and as more women die around her, Gillian realizes she could be next.

The plot synopsis was interesting, the trailer didn't seem to convey the plot well though. I had no idea what this film was about after watching it.

Great Trailer!! I've seen the comments that there wasnt enough in the trailer to "get it", but I think its the perfect mixture of telling us a bit about the story, and at the same time leaving us in suspense wanting MORE!
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
I'd love to see more from this, the trailer didn't give me a whole lot.

Georgia M. Posted 7 months ago
Like the artistic direction the director is taking in this. Especially LOVE the shot of the fresh, warm blood melting the snow. Leads me to believe this won't be your average "monster movie" that's been recycled thousands of times, it has the potential to be unique. I'd really like to see this. Good luck guys!
Joehl C. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting idea. Vikings??? Best of luck!

Nice looking trailer! I'd pay to see this one. :)
Tyson L. Posted 7 months ago
Blood in the snow always looks so awesome! The trailer reminds me of Ginger Snaps for some reason
June B. Posted 7 months ago
Too many panning shots back to back near the top. Interior lighting was weakest but otherwise nice. Lead actor seems like a solid performer. Cool shot of the blood sinking in the snow. Not my fav genre but well shot.
Bella M. Posted 7 months ago
Beyond the captivating cinematography, the unconventional mystery in this trailer kept me on the edge of my seat.
Patrick G. Posted 7 months ago
Nice idea.
Korinda K. Posted 7 months ago
Loved your set choice so very Edmonton and it lends itself well to your story in my opinion. I love the main character she is beautiful and a strong character :)

Chelsea B. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting and creepy! Acting a bit forced in places but good trailer
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Good production values but I think I've benn to this movie before
Clutch W. Posted 7 months ago
Blood in the snow is always good. Shot of the viking-type dudes was a bit confusing, and maybe drop or rework the jerky in-out on the preacher as it doesn't look as slick. Two leads better than some of the others on here.
Kirk S. Posted 7 months ago
Lindsey and her cast and crew have done an amazing job. I would love to see this as a full length movie.
Blaine M. Posted 7 months ago
Looks amazing! It was well shot
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Like the hook. Would be interesting to see a shape shifter
Kellie M. Posted 7 months ago
Very interesting- I would like to see more. :)
Tally K. Posted 7 months ago
This seems promising! The priest scenes seemed a little amateurish but the rest is very intriguing. I'd be interested in seeing this.
David B. Posted 7 months ago
Wonderful production from a very talented team! Looking forward to seeing how Greg, Travis, and Lindsay progress and hopefully help them along the way. I am very proud to have Shot this one. Looking forward to seeing everyone support during the first voting stage.
Lew D. Posted 7 months ago
I like the idea of using berserkers (I'm guessing) rather than the typical werewolves, and a proactive heroine, but would be more assured to have a glimpse of the monster effects.
Rily M. Posted 7 months ago
Loved the shape-shifter idea for a movie concept yet not really knowing who the killer was. I wish they could had elaborated more on the shape shifters, or maybe seen someone transform for a split moment. However the way it unfolds it makes me question out of the group of guys which one is the shape-shift killer. Loved the suspense built into this movie concept. The priest also gave me a creepy feeling and alluded to something else in the story line that maybe there's something being hidden from people in the town which maybe he has some insight to. I didn't feel it take away from the concept, rather potentially develop it, or at least leave room for the audience's imagination. With this type of movie I like what they did because it did leaving me hanging, wondering, and eager to actually see the whole movie. Great Job guys.
Kevin R. Posted 7 months ago
I feel this trailer and story line was well thought out and developed. It's not a typical horror movie either like most in this genre. It kept my attention from beginning to the end, and left me with that "What's going to happen next" anticipation. The tension of the plot appropriately builds with music, movement, scene changes, and the acting really conveys the concept of the movie clearly, I felt. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the shooting and the writers skills. It is definitely a movie I wish to see made and showed in Cineplex theaters.

Richard L. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent trailer - much better than a lot of "professional" ones I have seen over the last few years. Nice details (the blood melting the snow), tells the story without giving away too much, great atmosphere, beautiful shots and camera angles. Had minor issues with the sound - I was using headphones, and the stereo was too extreme (wood chopping is in the center of the screen but the sound on the far left, etc.), and I had trouble understanding some words towards the end. Definitely made me interested.
Rob B. Posted 7 months ago
Well done trailer with good shots, some acting might need polish in the final version.
Pennylane B. Posted 7 months ago
I loved it and the fact that it takes place in our Winter Wonderland even better!
morgan a. Posted 7 months ago
Was very good trailer music, added a lot to the intrigue of the trailer, and brought more excitement as well as depth to the show. This is a must see.
Laura B. Posted 7 months ago
Edgy and fun - looking forward to more!
Stephanie R. Posted 7 months ago
I actually want to see this made into a movie. I think it has a good storyline. It isn't just another senseless horror and gore, but actually has a background storyline derived from a legitimate Legend which makes it so intriguing, not to mention the quality of the cinematography!!!
Barry S. Posted 7 months ago
I really liked it but wanted there to be more revealed or told about the vikings. I felt it could have had more storyline around the vikings and where it all evolved from. Otherwise I liked the choice of locations, the main actress was absolutely fantastic, and I felt her dialogue and chosen words were believable. She was fearless and I liked how this time it was a female who was not scared but ready to take on the "thing" that is hunting.
Katalin S. Posted 7 months ago
Wow Lindsey, your film's eerie trailer spooked even my Mac laptop. It gave it not the Blue, but the Grey Screen of Death! I had to shut everything off, sit in dark silence for a few seconds and restart my computer to be able to watch it. It never happened before! I'm convinced that such an irrational event is a testament to your film that it WILL scare the bejesus out of everything and everyone. Can't wait to see it! It will be wickedly gruesome, blood-curdling and entertaining. You know it, I know it. Yours Truly, your fellow filmmaker friend Kat
Artur K. Posted 7 months ago
...but what if Gillian's just wrong? ;) Great job on a fine trailer, scared to see the rest!
Jennifer P. Posted 7 months ago
I love stong female leads!
Cam W. Posted 7 months ago
that looks AWESOME!!!
Rita R. Posted 7 months ago
loved the trailer....can hardly wait to see the whole movie!!!!
BrknDishes B. Posted 7 months ago
Vikings. Beautiful vikings. And excellent shots!
Chris C. Posted 7 months ago
I could do without the preacher, seems like him and his location are only something that would only be good for a trailer, not as a proper character and place. The rest looks quite interesting, I'm not sure I get the vikings as I thought the story was going to have something to do with werewolves, but I'm willing to reserve judgement until I see more. Keep it up.
Sarah M. Posted 8 months ago
SO EXCITED FOR THIS FILM!!
Kevin P. Posted 8 months ago
Good shots Great editing Location sounds is okay Acting isn't terrible
Jessica P. Posted 8 months ago
Quite theatrical and bizarre. The acting seems a bit lukewarm but otherwise a fairly thrilling trailer.
Cody K. Posted 8 months ago
This looks great! Good to see such quality coming out of Edmonton! -Team "The Last Videostore"
Carolyn K. Posted 8 months ago
Looks like it could be developed into an interesting full length. Liked the use of narrative & choice of music. Enhanced the draw rather than detracting.
Katie T. Posted 8 months ago
Definitely had it's moments. The pacing and music were cool.
Nathaniel K. Posted 8 months ago
Gonna be wicked!!!
Westin P. Posted 8 months ago
Trailer looks great, dark n'sexy! Full length? Yes please!
Matt W. Posted 8 months ago
The idea of a "Feminist Horror Film" already has me interested! Some of the dialogue definitely came out a bit cheesy, but that's always a danger with horror. Looking forward to seeing more from this team!
John F. Posted 8 months ago
Meh
Arsen O. Posted 8 months ago
strong contender
John P. Posted 8 months ago
Absolutely amazing in quality! The idea of using Vikings as shape shifters was really ingenious for building a story around. The people who made this obviously know how to make films, and I can't wait to see it in theaters.
Amy L. Posted 8 months ago
I Liked it a lot. It looked real. I liked how the story line is different and it's the victim going after the "killer" rather than the killer always coming after the victim. Well done guys. This is a show I'd pay money to go see in a theatre.
Mike L. Posted 8 months ago
good effort
Derick M. Posted 8 months ago
Great job, a decently will done trailer and could be a good movie.
Matthew A. Posted 8 months ago
Everything is just perfect.. i hope this one goes for the gold...
Michael W. Posted 8 months ago
Well casted, intriguing cinematography, visual appealing, storyline well written and developed throughout the trailer, and I would definitely go to the theatres to watch the full show. Hope it wins! Excited to see more!!
Phil B. Posted 8 months ago
Nice visuals here. The trailer suggests an intriguing fear of males theme. Not sure if that’s intentional, but hope so – could raise an otherwise predictable slasher to a very intriguing level. Best of luck!
Rachel C. Posted 8 months ago
Great trailer guys! This is my type of movie:)
Lowell D. Posted 8 months ago

Beautiful visuals, great story, but I wish the last part was shot at night... I had a hard time feeling bad for that poor fighter of a lady... still, you're going places! Nice work!
Araxi K. Posted 8 months ago
very engaging and empowering to women, you go girls... this project will go far!
Lesley C. Posted 8 months ago
Love the music, the cinematography and the acting. Well done!
Rose L. Posted 8 months ago
Congrats on the trailer guys! We wish you the best of luck.
Gillian M. Posted 8 months ago
I don't only love this trailer because it shares my name...I love it because of the hard work that went into it, the great acting, the story, the visuals, and all the cool people that worked on it! Great work guys!
Also...why are some of you reviewers so nasty? You can share your opinion but there is no need to be mean. For shame!
Gavin B. Posted 8 months ago
Lindsey McNeil and her team worked tirelessly to put this trailer together. They also do alot to support independent film-making in the Edmonton area. Please support her film and help them get the recognition they deserve.
Cam M. Posted 8 months ago
Woo, girls in horror! I'm excited
Ian T. Posted 8 months ago
Love the tone. Can't wait to see more.
John C. Posted 8 months ago
This looks like it is shot well and has a great tagline.
Dan Z. Posted 8 months ago
Something about this makes me shiver. I want to see more. Get this baby into a Saskatoon theatre. Impressed by the writing, cinematography and the always-compelling Lindsey McNeill.
Dan S. Posted 8 months ago
This is totally my cup of tea. Blood, gore, myth and legend, and an eerie atmosphere all make for a great scare!
Ryan S. Posted 8 months ago
For me, the best part of the trailer is the casual implications of a conflict between men and women. "It's not that women are evil, but they attract evil"; "There's a darkness in the woods, masked in the shape of men we know". They definitely inspire some dread about the uncertainty of those closest to us.
Angela P. Posted 8 months ago
Can't wait to this this one go on the BIG screen!!!!!!
Patricia R. Posted 8 months ago
The trailer has just the right amount of suspense, hope it gets a UK release
Tawni B. Posted 8 months ago
Finally a strong FEMALE lead! There is definitely depth to her character, I want to know what is behind those eyes. A couple more checks in the yes column, vikings, blood, shapeshifters and that blonde guy is not very hard on the eyes. All around some great 'family' entertainment!
Oliver K. Posted 8 months ago
Love to see more of the starlets. What type of shapeshifter? I saw some vikings earlier, are they time traveling beserkers? Ulfherjar who have been cursed, unable to rest for 1000 years? or just some other Lycanthrope.
Rhonda J. Posted 8 months ago
Terrible acting from the main character. A flat, lifeless actor with a forgettable face. Good camera work but doesn't make up for the terrible premise and the distracting vikings(?????). Forgettable, reaching, not scary or thrilling in the least.
Wildcat W. Posted 8 months ago
Good to see some film action from around home.
Karen M. Posted 8 months ago
Ugh. While it's a polished looking trailer with good camera work and lighting, the acting is awful awful awful, and the story for this is really, really, really stupid. Shapeshifters with vikings and killing for the sake of it? If I saw this as a real trailer at my local CIneplex I'd say that I wouldn't waste my time to see it. With a million dollars on the line you'd want it to go to a good story.
Ruxandra R. Posted 8 months ago
more killing... just 'cause... ya, awesome concept. -.-
Luke S. Posted 8 months ago
Nice central concept. The priest doesn't seem to fit, and seems pretty cliche. Well shot!
Tom A. Posted 8 months ago
I am only giving this a 2 because I thought the camera work was fantastic. Other than that, this is just boooooring. The idea of the movie is really, really bad.
Mark R. Posted 8 months ago
Gillian's sooooooo wrong. Just wrong. Everything about this trailer screams AMATEUR. The acting is especially bad. The main character is alright but the priest is just terrible and the premise....oh man, i could go on forever. Let's make sure this one DOESN'T advance. Shapeshifters??? Cmon.....
Todd M. Posted 8 months ago
Now that's how you present a trailer... Acting was solid and the cuts gave me just enough to want more. Good camera work too.
Maura S. Posted 8 months ago
Intriguing film!
Jane Z. Posted 8 months ago
Wonderful work! I I can't wait to see the movie!
Sean B. Posted 8 months ago
That preist creeped me out.
Donald Y. Posted 8 months ago
Great trailer. It creates interest in seeing the movie.
Joe S. Posted 8 months ago
Rock on Edmonton!
Lee F. Posted 8 months ago
Eh. More like Gillian's Just Wrong. Just seems lame.
Jean M. Posted 8 months ago
Too bad about the acting in the scenes with the young man on the couch. He is just awful. Maybe if you made the movie without him in it.
Shelley T. Posted 8 months ago
Good trailer and idea. Liked it until the music started.
Lucas B. Posted 8 months ago
Wish I could rate it higher! Well done!
Paul B. Posted 8 months ago
love the viking flashbacks and the funky music near the end. Well done.
Ross H. Posted 8 months ago
Love the creepy music. The edit work is engaging. The flashbacks help separate this movie from run of the mill grindhouse fare. Help support locally made film.
Sara S. Posted 8 months ago
Different angle on a tried and true formula. Should be interesting to see where this ends up.
Donal O. Posted 8 months ago
I love the concept. The strong female lead ready to take on the evil in the form of men is an empowering story for an age that thinks that Feminism has had its run. I enjoy the use of such cheerful music in a chase scene in the woods and the strange appearance of the shape shifters.
