Valuable cheap tricks.
dorothy e. Posted 6 months ago
There weren't very many tricks presented but I'm sure you could make it work with the money :)
Ellen M. Posted 6 months ago
Lots of good ideas for making a small production appear to have a bigger budget. It really comes down to the people and what ideas and abilities they bring to the movie. This project has very talented and experienced people.
Lukee W. Posted 6 months ago
not bad

Artjom G. Posted 7 months ago
great job!
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
very systematic, nice job
Joan L. Posted 7 months ago
Sometimes less is more, in particular the scene with the quivering sari. It conveyed the necessary drama.
Jennifer M. Posted 7 months ago
It looks like you have already shot this as a short film, I would be curious to know what your budget was as the end result does look very professional.
Su P. Posted 7 months ago
I like the head lights affect
Meika A. Posted 7 months ago
i like the effect
Rogel D. Posted 7 months ago
Great breakdown
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Loved the way you broke down and organized the mission. thumbs up
Nellemarie H. Posted 7 months ago
The shot if the quivering sari said it all. Very dramatic.
Tina B. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a great team on a very promising project.
David F. Posted 7 months ago
I love all the little tweaks and tricks outlined here -- the quivering of the sari, and the modest colour correction in the face-to-face shot, for example. Looks like there's great attention to detail on this project.
Sarah S. Posted 7 months ago

Connor B. Posted 7 months ago
the same noise with the numbers takes me out of the mission
Anna T. Posted 7 months ago
could be more interesting
Mark V. Posted 7 months ago
Good video although I didn't like the cutting from statement to statement. needed more flow.
Patricia F. Posted 7 months ago
very sad
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
If you meant this mission, sorry! We're doing our best. If you meant the story for the movie, I can see why you'd say that, but as I said in the first mission video, despite the dark premise, the story ends up being uplifting. Though I don't want to give any more away.
Pete M. Posted 7 months ago
interesting
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks!
sdfsa s. Posted 7 months ago
Great work guys! The idea with the car headlights was very ingenious.
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks. I'd shoot it that way even if we had more money.
Imthiyaz H. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks, there's a lot of great work Sugith has put into this project!
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks, Imthiyaz. But there'd be no point if the script you've written wasn't worth it. (How's the new draft coming, by the way?)
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
good job with the mission.
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you!
Hanaan D. Posted 7 months ago
Really interesting work, but I wish we could see more from the writer!
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks. I agree! Getting Imthiyaz Hameed on camera is like pulling teeth, though.
Tyce P. Posted 7 months ago
cheap tricks comes in many forms, not just explosions. Nice.
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks. I actually don't like Cinecoup calling these cheap "tricks". They may be cheap, but they aren't tricks, just good film making.
Sean B. Posted 7 months ago
Super not cool tricks.
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry they weren't cool enough for you. We were just trying to do a good trailer.
Michael C. Posted 7 months ago

Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the support!
miranda k. Posted 7 months ago
enjoyed the plot
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks! Hope you'll see the whole plot soon. A few good twists and a surprising ending, which isn't even hinted at in the trailer.
Ryan G. Posted 7 months ago
Great use of the camera and of course a first rate cast will propel it further (which it seems you've got, good job)
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks a lot. Helps to have a great DOP, Arthur Cooper, (his new movie Home Again opens this Friday!). And I agree about the cast!
June B. Posted 7 months ago
Great representation of thinking outside the box to save money while maintaining the integrity of the production.
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks! Even though they were money-saving, I'd probably do the same thing even if we had more money. Good ideas are priceless!
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
good, video, I did really like the sari suicide cinematic quality, worked really well for me, especially combined with the music choice. Transmission
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the feedback! I'm really proud of the sari sequence.
Skye B. Posted 7 months ago
Cool poster!
Sugith V. Posted 7 months ago
